Hello! I’m Makaela.  I perform and teach private voice and piano lessons in Tacoma and Auburn Washington, alongside my husband, Bronson, who teaches piano and guitar.

Singing has served as a powerful way for me to express my emotions, gain confidence, and connect with people. Because of this, the act of singing is very, very dear to my heart, and something I have dedicated myself to sharing with others.

 

I want everyone to feel the joy of singing in their lives and to feel comfortable hearing and projecting their own voices. I work with my students to achieve this by fostering proper vocal technique and applying it to music they enjoy, whatever style that may be.  We also work on letting loose, being silly, and finding, loving, and embracing your true, natural voice.  Singing is NOT only for superstars! It is for EVERYONE to enjoy.   Everyone can improve their voice with proper guidance and dedication.  I look forward to helping you experience the joy of singing.
